Kaitlin Nobbs
Hockey Coach
It is a pleasure to introduce Kaitlin to our coaching team. Originally growing up in WA, Kaitlin has always had a passion for hockey and for anyone who has followed her pathway then you would know how much of a great player and person she is.
A current Hockeyroo, 2020 Olympian, 2018 Commonwealth Games Silver medal with 92 caps (as of December 2021).
Kaitlin could be considered hockey royalty with her mum, Lee Capes, a hockey gold medallist from the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, and dad Michael Nobbs playing at the 1984 Los Angeles games as well as coaching the Indian men’s hockey team at the London 2012 games.
Kaitlin debuted for the Hockeyroos in May 2016 at the International Hockey Open in Darwin, where the Hockeyroos competed against Malaysia, Japan and New Zealand.
Although Nobbs grew up in WA, living in the state until she was 14, she considers herself to be a NSW’er through and through. Nobbs was part of the bronze-medal winning 2016 Junior World Cup side and is hoping to finish her degree in nursing soon.
She currently runs summer 1:1 and small group lessons and is very popular among young girls. If you would like an amazing experience and have the chance to have a session with Kaitlin please get in touch and we can make it happen!
